Xplan Integration - Protection Plans

Modified on Mon, 19 Oct 2020 at 03:53 PM

After ATEB Suitability's integration with Xplan has been set up, on the 'Getting Started' page, in the 'Report Details' tab, under the question, 'Please select which advice areas you wish to include in this report:', the option of 'Protection Advice' should be selected.

From the recent update to the suitability system, It is now possible to bring through Xplan data for both New and Existing Protection plans.

Existing Plans:

To show Existing plans, in the 'Protection Advice' page at the top, under the question 'Please indicate the Protection Advice basis:', either of the two answers will need to be selected:

1) Existing policy review only

2) Existing policy review leading to a new policy recommendation

If the Suitability application has been accessed via Xplan, and Mortgage Plans exist in Xplan for this client, in the 'Existing Plans' tab in the 'Protection Advice' page there will be all of the existing plans appearing in the repeating section.

It is possible to add and remove the existing plans as per the section add and minus buttons as usual.

New Plans:

To show New plans, in the 'Protection Advice' page at the top, under the question 'Please indicate the Protection Advice basis:', either of the two answers will need to be selected:

1) New policy recommendation only

2) Existing policy review leading to a new policy recommendation

If the Suitability application has been accessed via Intelligent Office, and New Protection Plans exist in Xplan for this client, on the 'Protection Plans' page there will be two (new) questions at the top of the section.

The first question is 'Use Xplan Plan Data?', which is automatically defaulted to 'Yes' (if this is answered 'No', then the user will be able to complete the plan as normal with no plan details pulling through).

The second is a question is 'Select Xplan Plan'; this is a drop down question where the user will select the relevant plan from Xplan.

The answers in this drop down are taken from the linked iO account and are formatted in the following way: Provider, Plan Type and Product Name. All this information displaying about the plan will make it easier to distinguish which plan to select.

Once the Plan has been selected, the information from Intelligent Office will automatically be entered into the Wizard as plan details.
